Putin held a phone call with Crown Prince Salman
Moscow, April 2, 2026 (Hibya) - Russian Federation President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman agreed during their phone call that diplomatic initiatives should be intensified for a lasting solution in the Middle East.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation issued a statement regarding the high-level conversation between President Vladimir Putin and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Regarding the content of the conversation, the ministry shared the following information:
"On April 2, President Putin and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman held a phone call. Both sides stressed the need for intensified diplomatic efforts for a lasting Middle East solution that takes into account the interests of all parties."
