Baqaei: This is an extremely brutal and disgusting situation
Tehran, May 31 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei stated that Dutch police used violence against a pregnant woman who wanted to stay with her detained Palestinian husband, adding that there is no justification for what happened.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Esmail Baqaei criticized law enforcement actions and alleged human rights violations in the Netherlands.
Describing the incident as "brutal and disgusting," Baqaei said: "This is an extremely brutal and disgusting situation. There is no excuse for Dutch police using violence against a pregnant woman simply because she wanted to stay with her detained Palestinian husband."
Calling on Dutch authorities to act, Baqaei stated: "The Dutch authorities must ensure full accountability for this clear human rights violation. Such incidents demonstrate systemic bias and discrimination within law enforcement agencies."
