Brekelmans: We are investing in systems that detect unmanned aerial vehicles
Amsterdam, 26 November (Hibya) – Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans stated that they take drone incidents seriously and are investing in systems that detect unmanned aerial vehicles.
Minister Brekelmans noted that while they take drone incidents seriously, there is no need to panic.
He added that, due to recent events, intensive investments are being made in systems that detect drones (radars, sensors) and systems that remove them from the air (jammers, counter-drones, weapons systems, etc.).
