Budrys: Kremlin doubles violence instead of negotiations
Vilnius, September 7 (Hibya) - Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys said that the Kremlin is doubling violence instead of engaging in negotiations, rejecting diplomacy and choosing terror.
Minister Budrys noted that Russian aggression is increasing day by day, emphasizing that last night Ukraine was struck by an unprecedented attack.
He stated that civilians were killed in the attacks, homes and infrastructure were targeted, and even a government building was hit. “This marks a dangerous new phase in Moscow’s terror campaign – precisely while President Trump and European leaders are working for peace,” he said.
Budrys stressed that the Kremlin is doubling violence instead of negotiations, rejecting diplomacy and choosing terror, adding:
“This cannot go unanswered. Russia needs tougher sanctions, and Ukraine must immediately receive advanced air defense systems. Any delay will only fuel further aggression.”
