Lithuanian Foreign Minister Budrys stated that Russia carried out missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and Kharkiv while peace talks were continuing in Abu Dhabi.

Noting that the attacks targeted residential areas and energy infrastructure, Budrys said: “Moscow has no intention of seeking peace or ending this war. The world must act now; it must strengthen Ukraine’s air defenses and increase pressure on Russia to stop attacks against civilians.”

Budrys stressed that the destruction and suffering caused by Russia must not go unanswered and that it is inevitable that those responsible will be held accountable.
