Cassis: We want the truth to come to light
Bern, January 24 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis said that, like Italy, Switzerland mourns the 40 people who lost their lives and the many injured in the Crans-Montana tragedy, adding that they want the truth to be revealed.

Emphasizing that they understand the pain because it is also their own pain, Cassis said: “We want the truth to come to light. We are closely following the work carried out by the judicial authorities of the Canton of Valais.”
Cassis added that he had discussed the matter with his Italian counterpart Antonio Tajani and that Switzerland and Italy once again reaffirmed their willingness to support each other in this shared tragedy.
