Budrys: Russia’s war is not only against Ukraine
Vilnius, January 16 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys said that Ukraine is not a burden, but today represents a key pillar of European defense.
Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys stressed that Russia’s war is not directed solely against Ukraine, saying: “It is a systemic attack on Europe’s security, values and stability.”
Emphasizing that Ukraine is not a burden but a crucial pillar of European defense today, Budrys added:
“Ukraine is defending NATO’s entire eastern flank and has built a defense industry stronger than that of many allies combined. Helping Ukraine win is the most cost-effective investment in Europe’s own security.”
