Budrys: The EU must strengthen its role as a true geopolitical and geoeconomic power
Vilnius, October 15 (Hibya) – Lithuanian Foreign Minister Kęstutis Budrys met with EU ambassadors in Vilnius to discuss Europe’s key priorities, including security, defense, trade, and enlargement.
During the meeting, held under Denmark’s presidency, Budrys shared Lithuania’s perspective and emphasized the importance of maintaining strong support for Ukraine.
In a statement on social media, Minister Budrys said: “We had a focused and forward-looking meeting with EU ambassadors in Vilnius. We discussed Europe’s most important issues — security, defense, trade, and enlargement. My main message is this: the European Union must strengthen its steps as a true geopolitical and geoeconomic power.”
