Shahin: Greece is ready to participate in Gaza’s reconstruction
Athens, October 15 (Hibya) – Palestinian Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Farsin Agabekian Shahin, met with the Speaker of the Greek Parliament, Nikitas Kaklamanis, in Athens. During the meeting, it was stated that Greece will support the reconstruction of Gaza and increase its humanitarian aid.
Minister Shahin was received by Kaklamanis, who said that Greece is ready to take part in the process of Gaza’s reconstruction and will increase humanitarian aid.
Kaklamanis added that Greece will accept more injured children from Gaza for treatment and that the parliament is ready to provide additional assistance.
Shahin emphasized the vital importance of continuing humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, stating that countries should implement concrete reconstruction plans to make Gaza livable again.
He also stressed that the international community should use the existing diplomatic framework to launch a comprehensive and just peace process, emphasizing that the recognition of the State of Palestine based on the 1967 borders is the key to the two-state solution.
