Leyen: Kosovo must build strong institutions and reduce tensions
Brussels, October 15 (Hibya) – European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, in a statement on the accession process of Western Balkan countries to the European Union, emphasized the EU’s commitment to the region’s future.
Von der Leyen wrote on social media: “We remain committed to a future in which all six Western Balkan partners are part of our Union. In this regard, it is of great importance that Kosovo builds strong institutions and reduces tensions in the country.”
She also noted that Kosovo must complete the necessary steps to benefit from the EU Growth Plan.
