Carney: Europe and Canada are stronger together
Brussels, September 17 (Hibya) - Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said in his address to the European Parliament that the alliance between Canada and Europe is based on the values of freedom, solidarity, prosperity and sustainability.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said that the alliance between Canada and Europe is defined not by what they stand against, but by the values they defend: freedom, solidarity, prosperity and sustainability.
Carney said the alliance should be strong enough that neither side can dictate the other's choices, stating: "Europe and Canada are strong individually. Europe and Canada are even stronger together." Carney also said he was honored to address the European Parliament.
