Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis held a meeting with United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Administrator Alexander De Croo.

In a post on his social media account, Cassis said that Switzerland's support for Ukraine and Afghanistan was discussed during the meeting.

The meeting also addressed ways to carry out more effective and efficient work on the ground, go beyond crisis response, strengthen the link between humanitarian aid and development, and increase resilience for lasting peace and stability.

Cassis said that Switzerland attaches importance to its strong partnership with UNDP and welcomed the growing presence of the UNDP Crisis Bureau in Geneva.
