Christodoulides: Cyprus’s security is the security of the European Union
Nicosia, March 10 (Hibya) - President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides said that the European Union’s support for Cyprus is a sign of unity and solidarity.
President of the Republic of Cyprus Christodoulides thanked European Parliament President Roberta Metsola for her message of support for Cyprus and emphasized solidarity within the European Union.
“Cyprus is not alone. The security of Cyprus is the security of the European Union,” Christodoulides said, adding that the support for Cyprus is a strong indication of European solidarity.
Addressing Metsola, Christodoulides also said, “Dear Roberta, thank you for your long-standing friendship and support for Cyprus. Europe’s unity is our greatest strength.”
