London, February 27 (Hibya) - UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper hosted the foreign ministers of Central Asian countries in London and announced new cooperation agreements aimed at supporting the UK's economic growth and security.
UK Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper made a statement about the importance of the Central Asia region in the global economy.
Cooper highlighted that the region holds a central position in terms of access to critical minerals, developing markets, and trade corridors, and emphasized that a new era in relations with the countries of the region has begun.
Minister Cooper also noted that this is the first meeting of its kind since the Central Asian countries gained their independence, stating, "I have hosted the Foreign Ministers from the region to sign new agreements that will enhance the growth and security of the UK."
