The Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the country had joined the AI Opportunity Statement. In a statement, the ministry said that the move reaffirmed Croatia’s commitment to harnessing the transformative potential of artificial intelligence for innovation, competitiveness and economic growth.

It was reported that at the “Seizing the AI Opportunity” event held in New York, officials met with U.S. Under Secretary for Economic Affairs Jacob Helberg and international partners.

The statement said Croatia is ready to work closely with the United States and like-minded partners to develop an ambitious, innovation-focused approach to artificial intelligence.
