Croatia warns its citizens in the UAE: "Do not leave your homes"
Zagreb, March 1 (Hibya) - The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia issued a security warning to its citizens in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), advising them not to leave their homes and to avoid crowded places.
The Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Croatia shared a security notice for Croatian citizens residing in or present in the United Arab Emirates following developments in the region.
The notice asked citizens to remain indoors until further announcement and highlighted the following measures:
“Until the next notice, we advise all Croatian citizens residing in the United Arab Emirates to stay indoors, keep away from windows, and avoid outdoor activities and large gatherings.”
The Ministry also warned of possible communication disruptions, stating: “In the event of communication interruptions, remain in a safe place and wait for the signal to be restored for new information.”
It was noted that the Consulate General of the Republic of Croatia in Dubai is closely monitoring the situation, and citizens were advised to follow official announcements from local authorities.
