Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic met with EPP President Manfred Weber ahead of the EPP Summit and the European Union Council meeting.

Plenkovic stated that the European People's Party (EPP), as Europe’s strongest political family, plays a leading role on key issues such as security, migration, demographic change, and economic challenges.

Referring to Croatia’s political landscape, Plenkovic noted that the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) has earned voters’ trust in three consecutive elections, adding: “It holds 6 of Croatia’s 12 seats and continues to make a strong contribution.”
