Islamabad, July 12 (Hibya) - Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar issued a condolence message following the passing of former Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.

In his message, Dar said he was deeply saddened to learn of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani's passing, noting that during his tenure he played a key role in Qatar's modernization and in strengthening the friendly relations between Pakistan and Qatar.
Emphasizing that the late Emir's visionary leadership and contributions to regional peace would be remembered for many years, Dar extended his heartfelt condolences, on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan as well as himself, to the Al Thani family, the Emir of Qatar, the Qatari government, and the people of Qatar.
Dar also offered a prayer, saying: "May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Paradise and give his family the strength and patience to endure this great loss."
