According to a statement from the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior, Bulgarian Acting Interior Minister Emil Dechev presented a report on the ministry’s activities over the past 79 days.

Dechev said, “Employees of the Ministry of Interior can count on my full support while carrying out their duties within the framework of the law.”

Emphasizing the expectations of Bulgarian citizens, Dechev stated, “We are aware of the expectations of Bulgarian citizens, we consider them fair, and we are highly motivated to respond to them and fulfill this responsibility in the best possible way.”
