Diplomatic meeting between Syria and Egypt in Cairo
Damascus, May 3 (Hibya) – In a statement by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met with Badr Abdelatty in the capital Cairo. The meeting was reported to have been hosted by the Egyptian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
It was stated that the parties discussed strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries and developing cooperation on issues of mutual interest. Regional and international developments were also evaluated during the meeting.
The statement added that the parties exchanged views on expanding areas of cooperation and increasing coordination on regional matters.
