Dutch Prime Minister Schoof attended Pope Francis' funeral
Rome, April 26 (Hibya) – Dutch Prime Minister Dick Schoof attended the funeral ceremony of the spiritual leader of Catholics, Pope Francis, held at the Vatican.
Prime Minister Schoof said that Pope Francis' greatness lay in his simplicity and humanity.
He noted that this outlook on life was clearly visible and felt during the funeral ceremony, adding:
"Everyone who bid farewell to Pope Francis, whether in Rome or from their homes in front of the television, felt connected to him precisely because of his simplicity. It was a very special and moving occasion."
