On his first day at the World Economic Forum, Dutch Prime Minister Schoof took part in various plenary sessions and discussions on topics such as the importance of resilient supply chains and economic opportunities for the Netherlands.

Noting that the focus of the day was on the current tensions surrounding Greenland, the war in Ukraine, and developments in northeastern Syria, Schoof said, “It was also valuable to meet with discussion partners from all over the world.”

Schoof met with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, his Panamanian counterpart Jose Raul Mulino, Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq Masrour Barzani, colleagues from the Benelux countries, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson, and Swiss Federal President Guy Parmelin.
