Egyptian President: Agreement reached to establish a ceasefire in Gaza
Cairo, October 9 (Hibya) – Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi announced that an agreement has been reached to establish a ceasefire and end the war in Gaza.
President el-Sisi said that the world is witnessing a historic moment symbolizing the triumph of the will for peace over the logic of war.
Speaking from Sharm El-Sheikh — the city of peace and the cradle of dialogue and understanding — el-Sisi stated that, in line with the peace plan proposed by President Trump and under the auspices of Egypt, Qatar, and the United States, an agreement has been reached after two years of pain and suffering to establish a ceasefire and end the war in Gaza.
“This agreement not only closes the chapter of war but also opens the door of hope for a future shaped by justice and stability for the peoples of the region,” el-Sisi said.
