Albares: The death penalty is contrary to the right to life and human dignity
Madrid, October 10 (Hibya) – Spanish Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares stated that Spain advocates for the universal abolition of the death penalty, adding: “We are working for a world without executions.”
In his statement on the death penalty, Albares said: “Spain supports the universal abolition of the death penalty. It goes against the right to life and human dignity.”
He emphasized that Spain is actively working internationally to protect human rights, adding: “We work bilaterally and multilaterally for a world without the death penalty and in defense of human rights.”
