Italy supports U.S. Peace Plan for Gaza
Rome, October 10 (Hibya) — Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani attended the meeting held in Paris on the implementation of the U.S. Peace Plan aimed at ending the war in Gaza.
Tajani stated that Italy participated in the meeting together with European and Arab partners, emphasizing his country’s determination to fully implement the peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
In his statement, Tajani said, “Italy is determined to build a future full of peace and hope for Gaza, in line with the efforts set forth at the Two-State Solution Conference in New York. It is time to offer the Palestinian people a future of peace and stability.”
He stressed that Italy is ready to make concrete contributions to the implementation of the plan in the areas of security and reconstruction, and will continue providing humanitarian aid. Tajani added, “Within the framework of the ‘Food for Gaza’ initiative, we will continue our support with food and humanitarian assistance for Palestinian patients and students.”
