Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

In the market assessment published by İkon Menkul, it was stated that energy security, inflation risks and geopolitical developments were in focus for investors in global markets.

In the assessment, it was reported that U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said there were positive signals in the negotiations with Iran, but that excessive optimism should be avoided, while the coming days were said to be of critical importance for the talks. It was also noted that U.S. President Donald Trump said the negotiations with Iran would somehow reach a conclusion and that the conflict would end.

The report noted that Trump opposed Iran’s attempt to charge fees for commercial passages through the Strait of Hormuz and emphasized that the strait should remain open as an international waterway.

The assessment also included data from the International Grains Council (IGC), stating that global grain production is expected to increase by 6 percent in the 2025-2026 season to reach 2.48 billion tons. However, it was stated that climate risks, energy and fertilizer costs, and geopolitical tensions continue to maintain fragility in agricultural markets.

According to Gazprom data, gas injections into natural gas storage facilities in Europe fell to the lowest levels since measurements began, while core inflation in Japan reportedly declined to 1.4 percent in April, reaching its lowest level in the last four years.

The report also included statements from U.S. Federal Reserve (Fed) officials, saying that Fed members Thomas Barkin and Austan Goolsbee drew attention to inflation risks and signaled that, due to current economic conditions, a more hawkish monetary policy stance away from interest rate cuts could be maintained.

On the other hand, it was stated that the OPEC+ group is expected to decide on a production increase of 188 thousand barrels per day at its meeting on June 7, and that this sends a message that supply control in the market continues.
