European Day message from Ursula von der Leyen
Brussels, May 9 (Hibya) - President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen emphasized Europe’s shared values and spirit of unity in her message published on the occasion of Europe Day on May 9.
Von der Leyen stated that European citizens represent Europe in unity and celebrated Europe Day for all Europeans.
Ursula von der Leyen, in her message published for Europe Day on May 9, drew attention to the shared values and sense of unity represented by Europe.
In her statement, von der Leyen noted that the values Europe possesses are being celebrated today and said that European citizens are also a fundamental part of this unity. Stressing that Europe brings together different cultures and societies under one roof, von der Leyen shared the message: “Together, we are Europe.”
At the end of her message, European Commission President von der Leyen wished all European citizens a happy Europe Day.
