European Investment Bank opens office in Montenegro
Podgorica, November 5 (Hibya) – Montenegrin Prime Minister Milojko Spajić announced that the European Investment Bank (EIB) has officially opened an office in Podgorica.
Prime Minister Spajić announced the opening of the EIB office and congratulated Davor Kunc on his appointment as head of the new office.
He stated, “This office will play an important role in implementing joint projects within the major investment cycle that will completely transform our country.”
During the meeting, which was also attended by EIB Vice President Robert de Groot, Spajić recalled that the bank has invested over one billion euros across Montenegro to date, adding, “From now on, the EIB will more strongly support our development vision in priority areas such as energy, infrastructure, transport, and the green transition.”
