Sybiha: We aim to restore balance on the battlefield with the support of our allies
Kyiv, November 5 (Hibya) – Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with a NATO delegation led by U.S. Permanent Representative to NATO Matt Whitaker, with representatives from the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Canada, and the Netherlands in attendance.
Sybiha stated that the meeting addressed strengthening Ukraine’s defense capacity, peace efforts, and the development of the PURL initiative, emphasizing the importance of enhancing Ukraine’s long-range defense capabilities.
He noted that strategic operations targeting Russia’s war potential are yielding tangible results and called on allies to increase pressure on Moscow.
Sybiha stressed that protecting Ukraine’s energy infrastructure during the coming winter is a top priority and said that practical steps were discussed to strengthen air defense and increase energy support.
