First political consultations held between the State of Qatar and the Republic of Togo
Lomé, April 23 (Hibya) – The first round of political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar and the Republic of Togo was held on Wednesday in the Togolese capital, Lomé.
The Qatari delegation was headed by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Hassan Al Hammadi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, while the Togolese delegation was headed by His Excellency Ousmane Afo Salifou, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Regional Integration and Togolese Abroad.
During the discussions, both sides addressed bilateral cooperation relations and various regional and international issues of mutual interest.
As part of the political consultations, the State of Qatar and the Republic of Togo signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of youth and sports, affirming their determination to expand partnership opportunities and strengthen mutual cooperation.
