Swiss Foreign Minister Cassis met with Japanese Foreign Minister Iwaya
Tokyo, April 23 (Hibya) – Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis met with Japanese Foreign Minister Takeshi Iwaya in Tokyo.
Swiss Foreign Minister Ignazio Cassis stated that his first meeting in Tokyo was with his Japanese counterpart Takeshi Iwaya, during which they discussed current geopolitical challenges related to trade and regional policies in the Asia-Pacific region.
Regarding the war in Ukraine, Cassis emphasized that they explored possible ways to achieve a just and lasting peace. "Finally, we mutually expressed our satisfaction with the excellent relations between our countries, based on numerous contacts and shared values," he said.
