Guterres: The UN continues its work with determination
New York, Jan. 30 (Hibya) – United Nations (UN) Secretary-General António Guterres said that the UN continues its work with determination to maintain peace, defend justice, strengthen accountability, and support global progress.
UN Secretary-General Guterres said the world is facing a situation in which the use of force is beginning to replace the rule of law.
Noting that the principles of international law are increasingly being violated, cooperation among countries is weakening, and multilateral institutions are under severe pressure, Guterres said: “Despite all these negative developments, the United Nations continues its work with determination to maintain peace, defend justice, strengthen accountability, and support global progress.”
