Harris to Convene Government Trade Forum
Dublin, July 29 (Hibya) – Ireland’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister for Foreign Affairs and Defence, Simon Harris, announced that he will convene the Government Trade Forum on Friday to provide an update on the EU-US trade agreement.
Harris stated that the forum will offer an opportunity to share the latest analysis and impact of the agreement, and to receive direct input from stakeholders and agencies.
He added in his statement:
"It will also be an opportunity to discuss our new action plan for market diversification, our plans to accelerate the ratification of the trade agreement with Canada, and to exchange ideas on the global trade environment and the opportunities and challenges facing Ireland."
