Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

Israeli President Isaac Herzog drew attention to the impact of last year's forest fires and emphasized the precautions that should be taken during the heat wave.

Referring to past fires and climate conditions, Herzog said: "This morning, I stood in the burned Latrun forests, which are a reminder of the immense damage caused by the major fires that broke out here on the eve of Memorial Day last year. We are in the midst of a severe heat wave that is part of our summer, but is also a result of the global climate crisis affecting us."

Pointing to a tragic incident caused by the extreme heat, Herzog said: "The other day, a five-year-old child lost his life inside a hot car; it was a very sad and painful tragedy."

Calling on citizens to exercise caution, Herzog said: "I ask all of us to be responsible and vigilant, to exercise caution when using fire, and to immediately report any suspicious activity or fire."

Herzog concluded his statement by saying: "Let us protect everyone's lives together this summer."
