High-level phone call between Pakistan and Qatar
Islamabad, May 7 (Hibya) - During the phone call between Qatar Prime Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, bilateral relations and regional developments were discussed.
A phone conversation took place between Qatar Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani and Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif.
According to the statement, bilateral relations between the two countries and steps aimed at strengthening cooperation were discussed during the call. It was noted that the parties evaluated ways to further advance the existing cooperation.
Regional developments and security issues were also on the agenda during the conversation. In particular, the importance of diplomatic efforts to reduce tensions and preserve stability was emphasized.
The Qatari side thanked Pakistan and other mediator countries for their role in the ceasefire process between the United States and Iran and expressed appreciation for these initiatives.
A message was shared that Qatar would continue to support all efforts prioritizing dialogue and diplomacy in resolving regional crises.
It was reported that the parties expressed a common view that negotiation processes should continue in order to ensure lasting peace and stability.
