Hospital attacked in Kyiv
Kyiv, January 5 (Hibya) – In the attack that took place in the early hours of January 5, some of the patients in the hospital were evacuated. The World Health Organization (WHO) Ukraine recorded 5 attacks on health facilities in Ukraine in 2026.
According to information provided by WHO Ukraine, a hospital in Kyiv was attacked in the early hours of January 5. One patient lost their life and three people were injured in the attack.
Of the 26 patients in the hospital, 16 were evacuated to other health facilities.
According to World Health Organization data, 5 attacks on health facilities occurred in Ukraine in 2026. WHO emphasized that health facilities must not be targeted.
