IDF: 5 Syrian Druze civilians evacuated into Israeli territory
Jerusalem, May 2 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that five Syrian Druze civilians were evacuated into Israeli territory overnight to receive medical treatment.
According to a statement from the IDF, five Syrian Druze civilians were evacuated overnight to Israeli territory for medical treatment.
The statement noted that the wounded were transferred to the Ziv Medical Center in Safed after being injured on Syrian territory and added:
“The IDF is deployed in southern Syria and is prepared to prevent hostile elements from infiltrating the area and Druze villages. The IDF continues to monitor developments and remains ready for defense and various scenarios.”
