In a social media statement, Sybiha expressed his appreciation for Wadephul’s personal commitment and Germany’s steadfast support for Ukraine.

Sybiha stated: “I sincerely congratulate Mr. Wadephul on his appointment as Germany’s Foreign Minister. Germany is a reliable friend and a key partner in strengthening Ukraine and the whole of Europe.”

The Ukrainian Foreign Minister also expressed his belief that cooperation between the two countries will deepen, and that enhanced European security will help achieve a just and lasting peace for Ukraine. He concluded by saying he looks forward to welcoming Minister Wadephul to Ukraine soon.
