Kristersson: Sweden and Iceland celebrate 85 years of diplomatic relations this year
Stockholm, May 6 (Hibya) – Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson met with the President of Iceland, Halla Tomasdottir.
Prime Minister Kristersson hosted Icelandic President Halla Tomasdottir at the Swedish Government Office.
Kristersson stated that they discussed regional cooperation, transatlantic ties, and firm support for Ukraine, adding: "Since Sweden joined NATO, our ties with Iceland have grown closer than ever. This year, Sweden and Iceland are celebrating 85 years of diplomatic relations."
