IDF: Basij intelligence chief neutralized
Jerusalem, March 20 (Hibya) - The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Gholam Reza Soleimani, the intelligence chief of Iran’s Basij unit, was neutralized in Tehran.
The IDF stated that Gholam Reza Soleimani, the intelligence chief of Iran’s Basij unit, was neutralized in an airstrike carried out in Tehran.
It was reported that several high-ranking officials were neutralized in the operation along with Basij commander Gholam Reza Soleimani, adding: "In this attack, Basij intelligence chief Esmail Ahmadi was also neutralized."
The statement highlighted that Ahmadi played a significant role in planning and executing Basij operations and was actively involved in suppressing protests in Iran.
