Iran calls for dialogue on Pakistan-Afghanistan tensions
Tehran, February 27 (Hibya) - The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over the escalation of conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan and called for immediate dialogue.
The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it is deeply concerned about the escalating conflict between Pakistan and Afghanistan.
The ministry noted that the conflict has caused casualties and material damage for both countries, and has also increased regional insecurity, potentially leading to broader humanitarian and security consequences. The ministry called for immediate dialogue between the two countries to halt the conflict and ease tensions.
Additionally, the call for respecting territorial integrity and national sovereignty was reiterated, and it was expressed that they are ready to offer support in reducing tensions and facilitating dialogue.
