Iran condemns Israel’s attack on Lebanon
Tehran, February 21 (Hibya) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei condemned the attack carried out by Israel against Lebanon.
Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Baghaei strongly condemned Israel’s attacks on Lebanon, particularly on the Bekaa region and the Ain al-Hilweh Palestinian refugee camp in Sidon. More than 40 Lebanese and Palestinian citizens were killed and injured in the attacks.
The spokesperson emphasized the necessity for the United Nations and the Security Council to immediately take action to fulfill their legal responsibilities in order to halt Israel’s military aggression.
