Israel confirms the identity of the body of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, held captive
Jerusalem, November 9 (Hibya) – The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) informed the family of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, who died while being held hostage, that his body was returned to Israel and his identity has been confirmed.
IDF representatives informed the family of Lieutenant Hadar Goldin, who was killed and captured during the 2014 Operation Protective Edge, that his body had been brought back to Israel and the identification process was completed.
The statement emphasized that Hamas must fulfill its obligations under the agreement by ensuring the return of the bodies of deceased captives, in accordance with the commitments it made to mediators.
