Israel warns Hamas over drones, balloons and kites launched from Gaza
Tel Aviv, August 23 (Hibya) – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz held a security assessment regarding the threat posed by drones, balloons and kites launched from the Gaza Strip toward Israel.

According to a statement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting was attended by Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir, the head of the National Security Council and senior Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officials.
Israel warned Hamas that if launches toward Israel are not stopped, attacks against those responsible for the launches will be intensified and the population in areas from which kites, drones and balloons are launched will be evacuated.
The statement said Netanyahu declared that there would be no return to the situation that existed before October 7 and that Israel would not allow Hamas or other elements in the Gaza Strip to once again threaten communities in Israel.
