Israeli Defense Forces create humanitarian zone in Khan Yunis
Jerusalem, September 6 (Hibya) – The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced the creation of a humanitarian aid zone in Khan Yunis.
In a statement from the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), it was announced that as part of Operation "Gideon's Chariots 2", following the expansion of maneuvers in Gaza city and the takeover of Hamas's terror hideouts, a humanitarian aid zone has been established in Khan Yunis.
The humanitarian zone will include field hospitals, water lines, purification plants, and other critical infrastructure. Additionally, it was mentioned that food, tents, medicines, and medical supplies would be regularly delivered to the region, coordinated with the international community through COGAT.
The statement emphasized that humanitarian efforts and infrastructure arrangements would continue in cooperation with the UN and international organizations, in parallel with the expansion of military maneuvers.
