Ukrainian President Zelensky announced that Russia has launched over 1,300 attack drones, approximately 900 guided air bombs, and nearly 50 missiles of various types on Ukraine since the beginning of September.

Zelensky also noted that Russia targeted civilian infrastructure again last night: "In the first week of September, the enemy attacked the regions of Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Kherson, Kyiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipro, Kirovohrad, Khmelnytskyi, Zhytomyr, Volyn, Ivano-Frankivsk, Rivne, and Lviv. Explosions occurred in almost every region of Ukraine." he said.

"Russia continues to prolong this war and is trying to turn diplomacy into complete nonsense." Zelensky noted:

"We must respond to this with a joint answer against attacks and destruction, and the disregard of diplomatic efforts and civilized dialogue. We must strengthen the sanctions pressure, increase weapons supply to Ukraine, and ensure that such occupations will not be repeated in the future. Lasting peace requires functioning and real security guarantees."
