Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu meets German Chancellor Merz
Jerusalem, August 8 (Hibya) - Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
According to a statement from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Prime Minister Netanyahu met this evening with Chancellor Merz and expressed his disappointment over Merz's decision to impose an arms embargo on Israel.
The statement added: "Prime Minister Netanyahu said that Israel's goal is not to seize Gaza, but to free it from the Palestinian Islamic Movement and ensure the establishment of a peaceful government there."
