Deniz polisinden Adalar çevresinde 'deniz taksi' denetimi

US President Donald Trump said in his statement:

"For a long time — 35 years — they fought. Now they are friends and will be friends for a long time. It is a great honor for me to host you here at this historic summit between Azerbaijan and Armenia. I want to congratulate the two great leaders.

For 35 years, the war between Armenia and Azerbaijan continued, with both nations suffering great losses. Of course, the European Union and the Russians tried to end it — it never happened. Many other countries also tried but failed. With this agreement, we left the Oval Office of the White House after signing many documents for peace.

Armenia and Azerbaijan agreed to end the entire war forever, to start trade and diplomatic relations, and to respect territorial integrity. I think they will have truly great relations.

We also resolved an issue that had previously stalled negotiations. They will open the route to international peace and prosperity. Azerbaijan will have full access to Nakhchivan. Of course, Armenia's rights will be recognized, and there will be opportunities to live and work together."

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev stated that they have written a new page in US–Azerbaijan relations and are moving toward strategic partnership:

"This is a historic achievement for Azerbaijan. This strategic partnership format covers important areas such as mutual investments, trade, energy, connectivity, transit links, artificial intelligence, defense sales, and counterterrorism. I hope there will be active cooperation in the coming years.

Today we want to thank for lifting the restrictions that have been in place against Azerbaijan since 1992. This will truly never be forgotten and will be remembered with pride by the people of Azerbaijan."

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said:

"Today we have reached an extremely important milestone. We are now laying the foundations for writing a new story between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Without the personal involvement and determination of US President Donald Trump, and his commitment to regional peace, we would never have reached this point. The peace agreement will end the long-standing conflict between our countries. We are entering a new era — an era of mutual respect for sovereignty and territorial integrity."
