Spanish Foreign Minister Albares meets Lebanese counterpart Rajji
Madrid, August 8 (Hibya) - Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, Jose Manuel Albares, held a meeting with Lebanon’s Foreign Minister, Youssef Rajji.
Albares met with Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Rajji. In a statement following the meeting, Albares said: "I welcome the decision of the Council of Ministers recognizing the state's exclusive right to use force to guarantee its sovereignty."
Albares reiterated his support for Lebanon’s territorial integrity and peace, as well as his commitment to the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL).
