Joint Mediation Message from Qatar and Egypt for Gaza
Doha, May 7 (Hibya) – The State of Qatar and the Arab Republic of Egypt released a joint statement emphasizing that their mediation efforts in the Gaza Strip continue uninterrupted and with determination.
The statement noted that both countries, in line with a shared vision, are working to lay the groundwork for a comprehensive ceasefire aimed at ending the unprecedented humanitarian crisis in Gaza and alleviating the suffering of civilians.
The goal is to establish a foundation for a comprehensive ceasefire to end the humanitarian crisis and ease the pain of civilians in Gaza.
The statement also stressed that neither country would allow itself to be drawn into internal agendas or side objectives that do not serve the interests of the Palestinian people, reaffirming their commitment to a clear framework focused on easing suffering and securing a ceasefire as a step toward a lasting solution.
